What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is injection therapy for spider veins and larger surface reticular veins of the leg. It works by chemically inducing an irritation through injection of a sclerosing solution. This solution causes the veins to lessen after they pass through a healing process in which the treated veins thicken and close. Sclerotherapy may be combined with laser treatments. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the appearance of the Sclerotherapy-treated area improves 50%-90% following the treatments and may take up to twelve weeks to see improvement.

Since the SmartSkin CO2 laser treats the skin in microscopic portions, it avoids many of these potential complications. It is able to provide visible improvements with very little bleeding or scabbing occurring.
The procedure can be performed in your doctor’s office or an outpatient facility. A local anesthetic is typically enough of a numbing agent, unless a particularly large area is being treated. Goggles may be required for eye protection. The doctor will then pass the laser across the parts of the face that need treatment, with the number of passes determined by the thickness of the skin and the extent of the damage.
SmoothShapes® Cellulite Laser
The SmoothShapes® cellulite laser treats the underlying causes of cellulite through photomology, a cutting edge new technology. The device has a vacuum that positions the skin for maximum penetration of the laser and light. Then, the photomology helps the laser to be preferentially absorbed by the lipids.
